Legendary Arsenal striker Ian Wright has hit back at pundits who criticized his former club for celebrating a wild 3-1 victory over Liverpool in the English Premier League game on Sunday night.

Arsenal performed impressively by toppling the top team in the table and narrowing the gap to 2 points, returning to the path to fully compete for the championship again.

Both Jamie Carragher and Rio Ferdinand spoke out about the over-the-top celebrations, but Wright defended his former team on Twitter.

“Negative attitude towards our manager. What does he do besides celebrate goals and celebrate with his team? Celebrate the team that tried to beat leaders Liverpool and Manchester City,” Wright said.

“And just because they’re celebrating? Because Martin Odegaard took a photo with Stuart the photographer? This guy has supported Arsenal since he was 5 years old or something like that. Is it really wrong to just take a photo in the North Stand?”

“It had nothing to do with the fact that we had just beaten Liverpool, that was just an opportunity. Why is everyone destroying this happiness? Don’t destroy it. There’s so much more to the season. As soon as Arsenal do anything they come out and say we can’t be happy.”

“It’s like England at the World Cup or the Euros. As soon as England start doing well, everyone jumps in! It’s the same thing with Arsenal. Don’t let them ruin your happiness. Do what you’re doing. Whatever will happen will happen. But don’t destroy this happiness.” โปรโมชั่น ufabet

“Our manager celebrates with the same passion as you. Because that’s what it is. People expected us to lose games like this and we got through it. Don’t mess with us. Let us have our happiness.”

“Have fun, Arsenal fans! Enjoy our time! Because that’s all this game is all about. We had one night We beat the top team, Liverpool, the top Gunners!”
